We work Greenacres regularly, mostly around Lake Worth Road, Jog Road, Forest Hill Boulevard, Military Trail and the Turnpike approaches.

This is western Palm Beach suburb built on drained ground, and the stormwater leaves through a district canal and swale system rather than running anywhere by gravity. The neighborhoods went in as platted subdivisions with retention lakes and swaled shoulders, and utilities were laid in the same passes, so a front yard here usually has more crossing it than the drawings admit.

What we run in Greenacres

Greenacres is drainage-heavy work in a place people assume is ordinary suburb. Everything west of the ridge drains through a canal and swale grid, and the plaza basins along Lake Worth Road and Jog Road fill with grit continuously because there is so much pavement feeding so few structures. We pump and clean those and haul the spoil off as the regulated material it is. Association properties call about retention lake inlets and swale structures that have not been opened since the community was built. The grease side is corridor chain kitchens and school and institutional food service, which run on predictable intervals and want paperwork filed cleanly. Excavation is utility exposure along the section-line roads, where water, force main, fiber and power share a right of way and nobody wants a bucket finding out which is which.

Getting a truck in

Truck work here is comfortable and we schedule around traffic rather than geometry. Plaza aprons off Lake Worth Road and Jog Road are wide, with real service drives behind most of the buildings, though the lots fill at lunch and we would rather be gone by then. Residential and association work is the tighter half: swaled shoulders soften after a wet week, sprinkler heads and mailboxes sit exactly where a tanker wants to set up, and we mat the ground and put everything back. Jog and Military Trail are the north to south arteries and both slow at the school hours. The Turnpike gets us out loaded without crawling through town.

Through the year

This city runs a steadier baseline than the coastal towns, because the customer base lives here year round rather than arriving in January, though the corridor kitchens do pick up through the winter months. Water sets the real calendar. From early summer into fall the afternoon storms load the swales and the plaza inlets daily, and the district canals only carry what actually reaches them, so a plugged structure is a flooded parking lot the same afternoon. We push basin and swale work into the dry months and say why. School food service goes quiet over the summer and that is when we jet those lines.

One call covers both halves of the job in Greenacres

There are plenty of capable vacuum companies and plenty of capable excavation companies. What is rare in Greenacres is one outfit that does both, off one roster of trucks, under one set of permits. That was a deliberate choice rather than an accident of how the company grew.

Take a blocked kitchen line. Clearing it is a jetting job. Finding out why it keeps blocking can mean exposing the lateral, and if that lateral runs under a finished surface next to other buried services, the digging is the careful part. Those are usually two vendors and two schedules. Here they are one visit.

The same logic runs the other way. A restaurant with a line that keeps blocking has a jetting problem and a trap interval problem, and treating either one alone means doing it again in a few months.
