What we run in North Miami
NE 125th Street is a long run of independent kitchens, family places that have been in the same storefront for years, and that is most of what we do here. Older buildings mean older drain lines, so jetting matters as much as pumping. A trap that gets emptied on schedule still backs up if the line downstream of it has twenty years of buildup narrowing it, and that is the call we get at nine at night. Getting a truck in
Most of the commercial work sits on street frontage along 125th and Biscayne with parking out front and the trap around back, reached by a shared rear alley or a side driveway. Biscayne Boulevard traffic is heavy through the day and 125th is the main cross street, so mid-day service costs time nobody wants to spend. Bayfront basin work is done off the shoulder with cones out. Older independent buildings sometimes have the cleanout in an awkward spot, so the first visit takes longer than every one after it.

Low ground next to the bay means the storm system here is affected by tide as well as rain. In the fall, high water events push back through the inlets, and any basin holding sediment shows it immediately, so fall and the wet season are both busy for drainage. Hurricane season adds preparation work along the waterfront. Kitchen volume rises a little through the winter with seasonal residents in the area but stays steadier than it does on the beach, since these restaurants live off the neighborhood rather than off tourism.
