What we run in Weston

Weston was planned as a drainage problem before it was planned as a place to live, and the Indian Trace system is the reason the ground stays usable. That shapes our work. The community drainage inventory is huge and it is engineered, meaning basins, inlets and lake control structures that are supposed to move water to a canal on purpose, and when one silts up the whole run behind it stops performing. We vacuum and jet those. The excavation side benefits from the planning: utilities here are recorded better than almost anywhere else we work in South Florida, so contractors use us to verify what the record says before they trust it, which is potholing and daylighting in ground where the water table sits high behind the levee. Getting a truck in

Access is polite and permission-driven. Nearly everything sits inside a managed community with its own rules about heavy vehicles, hours and where a truck may stage, so we clear the visit with the association or the district before the truck leaves the yard. Many drainage structures sit on easements between homes or along lake edges, where the approach is turf over soft ground, and we run hose from the nearest firm surface rather than driving a loaded tanker onto sod. Indian Trace and Weston Road are simple to move on outside school hours. The I-75 ramps are the timing factor coming in from the east. Hospital service drives stay clear for emergency traffic.

Through the year

Rainy season is the whole story. A system built to move water only works if the structures are open, so the district and association work concentrates in the dry months and again in the run-up to hurricane season, when boards want everything cleared and on record before a storm. Canal levels get managed down ahead of big rain, and that changes what we can work in. Kitchen volume follows the residential calendar, steady through the school year with a summer dip.
