What we run in Lauderhill

Aging line is the common thread through everything we do here. The kitchens along Oakland Park Boulevard and State Road 7 are mostly independents working out of older buildings, and the drain runs behind their traps have been carrying grease for decades, so jetting is not an occasional service here, it is the maintenance that keeps them open. On the excavation side, older water and sewer infrastructure means repair crews need ground opened around live pipe without touching it, and the records for these streets do not always match what is actually down there. We take them early. Oakland Park and Commercial Boulevards both carry heavy through traffic across the day, and State Road 7 is worse, so mid-day service costs time nobody wants to spend. Utility repair work happens in the right of way with traffic control set up properly, because these are working roads and the shoulder is not always where it looks. Residential sections in the older parts of the city have narrow streets with cars on both sides, so the truck stays on the main street and the hose goes in.

Through the year

The wet season fills the street and plaza basins fast, and in a built-out city on drained ground with a high water table there is nowhere for that water to go except the storm system, so an inlet holding sediment shows itself in the first hard summer rain. Hurricane season brings a wave of preparation across the commercial properties and afterward a long stretch of clearing debris out of inlets. Utility repair and replacement work is scheduled into the drier winter months, when an open excavation stays workable, so the daylighting side is busiest then. Kitchen volume holds level year round on neighborhood trade.
