What we collect

The contact form on this site asks for your name, phone number, email address, the type of work you need, and a description of the job. The name, phone number and description are required; the email address is optional. The form also records which page you sent it from, so we know what you were reading when you decided to call us.

That is the whole list. We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this site, and there is no account to create, so there is no password to lose.

If you phone or email us instead, we hold whatever you tell us in that conversation, for the same reason and for the same length of time.

What we do with it

The phone number you give us is used to reach you about your job. We do not use it for marketing calls or texts, and we do not pass it to anyone who will.

We use it to answer you and to quote and schedule the work. That is the only reason it is collected. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it, and we do not send marketing to people who contacted us about a job.

We are a waste hauler, so some jobs generate regulated paperwork. A manifest for grease or another regulated waste stream carries the service address and the date, because the rules require it. That paperwork goes to the receiving facility and to the regulator, and nowhere else.

We collect what we need to get a truck to you. Nothing on this site is here to build a mailing list.

What the form is for

Who else touches it

Form submissions are delivered to us through Formspree, a third party form processor. Your submission passes through their systems on the way to our inbox and is handled under their own privacy terms.

This site is hosted on WordPress.com, which keeps standard server logs and sets cookies used for security and basic traffic measurement by the host. Pages that show a service area map embed Google Maps, and Google may set its own cookies when that map loads.

We do not run advertising pixels, and we do not run a text message marketing program. If that changes, this page changes with it.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not turn into work are cleared out once they are plainly stale. Records attached to a job we actually performed are kept as long as the tax and environmental rules require.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own for tracking or advertising. The cookies present come from the host and from an embedded map, as described above. Your browser can block or clear all of them, and nothing on this site will stop working if you do.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call 305-761-4311 or email info@vacriteservices.com and say what you want done. We will not make you put it in writing twice, and there is no charge for asking.

The one thing we cannot delete on request is regulated disposal paperwork tied to a completed job. Those records are required to exist.

Children

The site is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes. We do not keep a separate archive of old versions.
